To embark on the Way of Saint Anthony on foot or by bicycle in the true Christian spirit, every pilgrim should commit to respecting its meaning and essence. The Credential serves to authenticate the pilgrimage, confirm the pilgrim’s identity and intentions. Stamps from visited locations must be affixed to it as proof of the journey.

The Credential is issued free of charge by the Friars Minor of the Sanctuary of Saint Anthony in Gemona del Friuli and the Friars Minor Conventual of the Basilica of Saint Anthony in Padua. Each Credential has a unique identification number. It does not grant any rights but allows access to affiliated accommodation facilities, according to the specific terms and conditions that must be accepted and respected.

Starting from Camposampiero?

The Credential can be requested by filling out the online form available on the homepage (Request Credential) and must be collected at the selected affiliated office during registration.

As of October 15, 2024, the official Credential issuing points are:
Information Office – Basilica of Saint Anthony, Padua
Oasis Saint Anthony Spiritual Retreat House – Camposampiero
Religious Items Shop – Antonian Shrines, Camposampiero
San Francesco Convent – Brescia
Monselice – Triveneto Association of Friends of Santiago

The Credential must be collected during the opening hours of the selected issuing point.
Religious institutions, parishes, sanctuaries, tourist offices, or other entities interested in becoming affiliated Credential issuing points may contact the Way’s management to arrange the possibility

Credential Stamps: The Seal of Your Journey

Along the route, you can collect stamps at hospitality locations, shrines, churches, and affiliated structures. Each stamp tells part of your story, bearing witness to the path you have walked, the places you have visited, and the encounters you have experienced.
